VEGA Ohmart uses state-of-the-art Detector technology. The main unique advantage is the HART® Head-Mounted Programmable Transmitters.

Our range of high sensitivity scintillation detectors for both level and density measurement have compact in-head transmitters which are programmable using HART® communication. The transmitter provides a 4 to 20 mA output direct from the detector head which avoids the cost and space implications of installing a remote electronics module.

In addition, the 4 to 20 mA signal can be run in your existing multi-core cables. They do not require the special cabling used on frequency based outputs to remote electronics. The latest technology has been used to provide all the functionality you would expect of a modern transmitter. It can be programmed from anywhere on the 4 to 20 mA loop with either a standard HART® communicator or a PC with OhmartView™ software. Our latest transmitters also have the option of Foundation Fieldbus digital communication.
